Healthcare

Healthcare

Access to quality healthcare remains a challenge in rural and marginalized communities. Many families in eastern Uttar Pradesh cannot afford private treatment and often lack access to government facilities. Trikuta Seva Sansthan works to ensure that no life is lost due to distance, poverty, or lack of awareness.

Rooted in seva (service) and sanskars (values), our health work emphasizes dignity, compassion, and equality. We believe healthcare is not charity but a right and by bringing medical services to the doorsteps of the poor, we honor the principle that every life is sacred and deserving of care.

Flagship Program:

Community Health Outreach

  • Delivering primary healthcare and preventive services to underserved rural communities.
  • Focus on maternal and child health, preventive care, and referral services.
  • Strengthening awareness on hygiene, sanitation, and nutrition.
Mobile Medical Units & Ambulance Services

With CSR support from Concor, Trikuta Seva Sansthan launched a free ambulance service in Varanasi district, connecting more than 40 rural villages to timely medical care. The initiative ensures that poor and marginalized patients can reach health facilities without financial burden, and that critical cases are not left untreated due to lack of transport.

Health Awareness & Preventive Care

Campaigns on nutrition, hygiene, reproductive health, and communicable disease prevention

Screening & Referral Services

Regular health check-ups and linking patients with specialized care when required.

  • Health Camps – General, eye, dental, and specialized medical camps in rural and slum communities. Families of migrant workers, whose children are enrolled in Madhav Shiksha Kendras, are also regularly covered under these health camps.
  • Sanitation Drives – Promoting handwashing, menstrual hygiene, and safe drinking water practices.
  • Community Counseling Sessions– Engaging with families to adopt healthier lifestyles and reduce dependence on untrained private providers.

Three-Day Yoga Program on International Yoga Day Each year, Trikuta Seva Sansthan organizes a three-day yoga program in villages through various centers to promote awareness of yoga and empower people physically, mentally, and spiritually.

The program includes:

  • Yoga postures (asanas)
  • Breathing exercises (pranayama)
  • Meditation sessions
  • Health and lifestyle awareness

Special participation is ensured from children, women, farmers, and the elderly, so that the benefits of yoga reach every segment of the community.
